La marzocco GS 3 AV - 1 Group

This version of the La Marzocco GS3 Espresso Machine uses an electronics package that allows accurate & repeatable shots that can be programmed with water volume. The La Marzocco GS3 AV 1-Group uses an electronically controlled espresso system, utilizing the same electronics package as the GB5 AV to drive the pump and group solenoid valves to create the proper pressure for extracting coffee. It is these electronic controls that actually make the volumetric function of the La Marzocco GS3 Espresso Machine possible. Attached to the cold water side of the boiler is a small wheel (flow meter) which rotates as water passes through. The AV is capable of calculating and measuring the exact amount of water passing through the head group and can be programmed by the user to dispense the same amount each time.
